IMPORTANT REGISTRATION DATES (Please note: Registration opens at 7:00 a.m.)

Fall Skate (Pre-Primary and Up) - June 1 to July 15

Winter Skate (Pre-Primary and Up) - June 1 to July 15

Spring Skate (Pre-Primary and Up) - February 15 to March 1

CANSkate (October - December Session) - August 1 to August 15

CANSkate (January - March Session) - December 1 to December 15

Additional skating opportunities may be available throughout the year

(e.g. Bootbreak Camp, PD Day Camps, etc.).

• Membership fee of $60.00 to Skate Canada for the year (September 1, 2023 to August 31) is included with registration and is NON-REFUNDABLE

• The initial payment for registration (in full or installments) must be received within 24 hours of registration.

  • For installments, subsequent payments are to be received within 24 hours of the due date and the final registration fee must be paid in full two weeks prior to the first day on the ice.

  • If the initial or subsequent payments have not been received by due date, skaters may be withdrawn and will have to re-register, where a $50 late fee will be applied.

• Skaters who register late (after the closing date for registration) to Fall, Spring, or Winter Skate, with the exception of new residents to Whitecourt, will incur a $50.00 late penalty.

  • Prorated registration rates will be at the discretion of the Whitecourt Skating Club Executive.

• A withdrawal from the program will not automatically result in a refund of fees paid.

  • Fees for Winter Skate may be refunded ONLY if

    • the family moves from Whitecourt, or

    • there is a medical reason substantiated with a Doctor’s note that states the skater shall be unable to participate for four weeks or more.

• For every NSF cheque, the Club will levy a fee of $50 to cover administrative expenses incurred.

• Whitecourt Skating Club reserves the right to change schedules (due to holidays, test days, competitions, ice availability from the Town of Whitecourt, etc.)
